Young Adult—The most affordable option you have available if you are between the ages of 18-29 is Young Adult Blue from Blue Cross Blue Shield.  It costs under $50 per month and provides basic major medical coverage.  It does not cover outpatient doctor visits nor does it have a prescription drug card.  Nonetheless, if you are looking for a good safety net then this plan is for you.
